VLC: Day 1

I’m really excited to burst out how much I want to share the experiences that occured! In fact, I’m already jumping up and down! Let’s take things slow. Last Thursday, I woke up about 2:00 am just to prepare myself going to the airport. After all those routines, we took transportation to go to our destination which is the airport. I came there something like 15 minutes earlier. It was so over-whelming seeing this is the start where I’m going to learn something new but ,the sad part was, I already felt home-sick right the spot when I came to the airport. I know I easily get home-sick.

I was beside Matthew in the plane. So, never mind that. We reached MCIA by 7:15 and got picked up by the van. We had breakfast at Maribago grill. Served there was mangoes, chocolate-a,and that suman-like thing. Or was it… Next we went to Arden Classic. I was inspired by his works, how much he was attentive to details and how much effort was exerted in his works. I saw how it was made and the finished product of it. It looked beyond presentable! Plus, he gained our inspirations in the Q and A part.

Next was the Kalipulako shrine. We saw a statue of Kalipulako there as how it’s suppose to be. Kuya Charles gave us 3 things. First was, Kalipulako was the first Filipino who defended the country from foreign invaders. Next, Filipinos have focused to much on entertainment and third, we can still redo or rewrite our history.

Then… We had lunch. Atlast! So we ate at Zubuchon. I think you know what we ate. Then Princess had some CR rush. I thought she had the urge but it seemed like she just wanted to take a picture in the CR. We took long at that area deciding some of us will go for bubble tea while some for ice cream. Me and Princess went for ice cream. If I haven’t mentioned, me and Princess are tour buddies and at coinsidence, close friends. Like we were together for most times. So, ice cream. Yeah. Not to mention, I live and love ice cream!

Next was Kenneth Cobonpue. He showed great art by designing furnitures and the like. We were so amazed day dreaming it will be our house someday. Nice to see too where he got his inspirations. My favorite part was the bamboo seat wherein it seemed like it was hard to sit in but fluffy to sit in. The water was so sossy because it had lemons, ice, and tissues. Lol.

We had dinner at Tops. The place was LITERALLY in the top. So we screeched the whole ride thinking we might fall from the hillside. We made Puso ( a leaf thing for carrying rice) by weaving it. It’s not that up down weaving. It’s so hard! It’s full of put it over, twist it, bend it, follow it, cut it, bend it to the right and bend it to the left. Ugh, at last we ate. We played a while in the dark savouring the fresh air Cebu has provided. Surprisingly, i didn’t spend a cent of my allowance. We went to our hotel (Golden Prince). My roommates were Josephine and Sophia. Those two are totally crazy! Trust me!

So that’s all! Stay tuned for day 2!!!!
